Wang Temple

The Wang Temple is a real treasure in Karpacz, attracting lovers of history, architecture and culture. This unique wooden church was moved to Karpacz in 1842 from the Norwegian town of Vang. Its construction, made entirely of pine logs, was carried out without the use of nails - instead, traditional wooden carpentry joints were used.

The church is distinguished by its characteristic Scandinavian style and mysterious atmosphere, which transports visitors to the Middle Ages. Its elegant details and elaborate sculptures attract both photographers and tourists looking for unique places. It is also worth visiting the church cemetery, where both the faithful from the local parish and famous figures, including the poet Tadeusz Różewicz, are buried.

The Wang Temple is not only a place of prayer, but also a symbol of the rich history and cultural heritage of Karpacz, which is worth seeing during your stay in this picturesque region.
