Mountain

Snow White

Śnieżka, rising to a height of 1602 m above sea level, is the highest peak in the Karkonosze Mountains and at the same time one of the most recognizable places in the Polish mountains. It is a real treat for hiking enthusiasts, who can admire breathtaking views while conquering this majestic peak. In favorable weather conditions, from the top you can see a panorama reaching up to 200 km, covering the Jelenia Góra Valley and further surroundings.

Śnieżka offers not only challenges for tourists, but also the opportunity to commune with the harsh, Alpine nature. At the top there is a meteorological observatory and the chapel of St. Lawrence - these places add a unique atmosphere to this mountain colossus.

Climbing Śnieżka provides an incredible experience at any time of year, although in winter the route can be more difficult due to capricious weather and low temperatures. This is a must-see on every visit to Karpacz for all those who want to feel the true power of the mountains and experience unforgettable adventures in the heart of the Karkonosze Mountains.
